Most of us want more of something. More time. More money. More vacations. More fun. I am a big advocate of the “Add In” mentality. That means that if I want to make a change in my life (and trust me, I’m always looking to makes changes 😉 ) I will add what it is that I want to my life.
For example, if I want to be healthier, instead of restricting something like say, a donut, instead I’ll add a fresh juice to my morning routine. I’m still allowing for the donut, but by adding in something healthy I am already healthier.
Or I will add-in a bikram yoga class to my routine. See where I’m going?
The human brain only hears nouns. So if I tell you not to think about a pink elephant, all you will see in your mind’s eye is a pink elephant. Your fear can become your biggest reality if you don’t mind your thoughts. If you find you’re always thinking about your fears, shift your thoughts to what you want to feel. what you want to have. Who you want to be. How you want to live. You will find that you start getting those things. Automatically. Effortlessly. There’s a Chinese word for this: Wu-Wei. It is by feeling, seeing, envisioning, we get what we want. Not by action.
When it comes to creating more money there are lots of ways to add it to your life. Get in touch with how you will feel when you have what more money will give you. Is it free from debt? Is it more peace of mind? Is it happy because you have money left over after paying your bills? Is it excited about being able to go to your friend’s wedding in Hawaii? Call up those feelings throughout your day and focus on them. Be in them. Don’t worry about how to create more money yet. Just think about how it will feel.
The how will unfold naturally and effortlessly.

Your practice of the feelings you will have when you get the things you want, will provoke the universe to make it happen. It’s as simple as that. You can get there through your breath, meditation, stillness, quiet.
